Things I pondered on my morning walk/jog

1. I should really bring a garbage bag to pick up the random roasted chicken carcasses left along Sixth St. 2. Parking attendants are either really friendly or really bored because they all want to talk. 3. Nora Ephrom died last night. She was in the group of cool women who aged in style. Relevant. Funny. Smart. In her book she spoke of having to do maintenance as one ages. Sometimes we forget about maintenance. Sometimes we obsess about it. As we get older, we have to make sure we rotate the tires on a more regular basis. I thank TBF for encouraging me to pay attention before it all becomes way too serious. 4. Nora’s death made me think of cancer, a subject I know way too much about. From there I thought of the TBF Challenge and the Nutrilist. There’s so much about cancer that we don’t know and may not be able to affect but giving ourselves the best shot ain’t a bad idea. 5. Will Savannah Guthrie or Hoda Kotb replace Ann Curry? Hmmm…do I care? 6. Getting some Jamie time and exercise in in the morning is a good idea. I wish someone had told me that. Oh wait, everyone says that. 7. Oh crap. I should get a shower and get to work.

Congrats on week one and a half to my team partner Vince and everyone else in the Challenge.
