About True Body Fitness
I started True Body Fitness in a residential home in Howell in 2008 to cater to people who wanted a private and personal setting; a place where they could feel they were safe from any pressure or judgment. In December 2010 TBF made its move to Detroit. The studio is now in a loft-like commercial space just down the street from the old Tigers Stadium site.
“Fitness Without the Attitude,” was quickly adopted as our slogan, and the studio stays true to its goal to create a personal space. No more than two trainers share the training area at any given time, and all instruction is given one-on-one. We have an adjacent room for group fitness where we offer yoga, zumba, pilates, tae chi, spinning, boot-camp and more. We also offer nutrition training and metabolic testing.
The goal of the studio is to build a community of health-conscious support. Remember, most people are not given an athletic body; they are given knowledge and then they work their hearts out. So if you are given the knowledge and you do the work, you will get to where you want to be. It is not always easy, it is not always fun, but in the end it is ALWAYS worth it.
Let True Body Fitness help you get there!
